Complete Suite of Meiji period Japanase Polychrome woodblock prints. The 55 plate series, "53 Stations of the Tokaido" by Utagawa Hiroshige, born Ando Hiroshige (1797 – 12 October 1858). 

Hiroshige led the field of landscape printing in ukiyo-e.  “Fifty-Three Stages of the Tokaido” is one of the most highly regarded woodblock printing series in Japanese art.  

In 1832, Hiroshige traveled the length of the Tokaido from Edo to Kyoto, producing 55 prints in the whole series: one for each station, plus one apiece for the starting and ending points.
